Have you seen Incredibles 2 yet? Did you know Texas A&M has one of the best programs for animators in the country? When I was a grad student, I had the pleasure of working with a student of the A&M College of Architecture’s Visualization Program. She created software so we could visualize some of our research. After she graduated, she went on to animating the clothing and hair in The Polar Express and has since worked on over a dozen other movies. The Polar Express was released in 2004, about the same time as Incredibles. 14 years later, you can see the amazing advancements that have been made in the field of computer animation by comparing Incredibles with the just released Incredibles 2. By the way, 25 graduates of the Visualization Program worked on Incredibles 2. Just another example of Aggies leading the way.
While Summer is time for many of us to take a break and get away from things for a bit, don’t forget about the weekly Thursday opportunities to hang out with your fellow WilCo Aggies when you are in town. Join us at Rudy’s in Round Rock for breakfast tacos on July 5, Pizza Night at Double Dave’s in Cedar Park or Georgetown on July 12, and Jack Allen’s kitchen in Round Rock for Aggie Networking Lunch on July 19.
Also, don’t forget to order your tickets for Aggie Night at the Dell Diamond on August 10. There are also WCAMC and Round Rock Express caps, shits and towels available. We have reserved two of the air conditioned rooms in the United Heritage Center and the pool area and reduced the price from last year.

We received some feedback from local Aggies that our website wasn't memorable or that people didn't realize what the wcamc stood for (Williamson County A&MClub). So we have registered two new domain names to make it easier to remember and find us online! Both simply forward to our original wcamc.com URL but hopefully they are easier to remember. You can use any to get to our website now.
